Discover the rules of all life on Earth in an exciting public lecture by renowned evolutionary biologist Sean Carroll, next week at London’s Royal Institution.
The lecture will be based on Sean’s bestselling book The Serengeti Rules: The Quest to Discover How Life Works and Why It Matters, in which he tells the stories of scientists who have collectively demonstrated that everything in nature is regulated by a shared underlying logic.
The lecture begins at 19:00 (BST). Standard tickets cost £14, and can be booked online at the Royal Institution.
Akkadium will be there, so look out for our report of the event next week in the Explorer section.
Meanwhile, to whet our appetites, here’s a film of Sean’s presentation Evolution at the Molecular and Planetary Scale at the 50th Nobel Conference at Gustavus Adolphus College in 2014.
